Albert Rheinhart Miller

Albert Rheinhart Miller, 92, of Mazeppa, died on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Goodhue Living in Goodhue, Minnesota.

He was born on December 17, 1933, in Chester Township in Wabasha County on the home farm, one of ten kids, to Matthias and Leona (Arendt) Miller. Albert attended Bellechester Catholic School and worked for local farmers and his family farm. He served his country during peacetime following the Korean War in 1958. He worked at the Bellechester grain elevator “GTA” for ten years. He bought his own dairy farm in 1968. On September 23, 1972, Albert was united in marriage to Bette Guenther at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Albert and Bette raised their two children on their farm in rural Mazeppa. He retired from dairy farming in 1995 and worked at the Zumbrota-Mazeppa schools for many years as a custodian. He loved his family, talking with people, and monkeying around with tractors.

Albert is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Bette Miller of Zumbrota; his children and their families, Deanna Miller of Zumbrota and Corey (Emily) Miller of River Falls, WI; sister, Justine Schei of Rochester; as well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Lawrence, Lorraine, Mattie, Ronnie, Henry, Helen, and Joseph; and daughter, Annie Elizabeth.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bellechester with Father Thomas McCabe presiding. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the mass. Arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Larson Chapel.
