Alexander Neal Schrock was born February 11, 1993 to Tamara Schrock in Waterloo, IA. Alex grew up in St. Charles, MN and later settled in Rochester, MN. Alexander passed away unexpectedly on May 2, 2025 at St. Mary’s Hospital peacefully surrounded by his family.
During his life he went to St. Charles Middle School and moved on to Rochester, MN and graduated from Mayo High School. Alex attended RCTC and Duluth Community College. Alexander worked at Val-U-Blinds in Rochester and was very passionate about his work there. Alex loved computer marketing and online networking. Alex was working toward international businesses and foundation work. Alex was a great carpenter and worked in construction, framing, and remodeling. Alex was well known for his compassionate nature, his love for outdoor activities, hunting, boating, sports and working out. Alex loved his dog Audi who he said often was like his best friend. Alex was always ready to lend a helping hand to family and friends without hesitation. Alex had an amazing sense of humor and could light up the whole room with his smile. Alex will be greatly missed not only by his family but by his best friends,
co-workers, business partners, and others who were blessed to know him. Alex always had faith in God throughout his short life and it showed by the way he treated others as well as strangers with respect and compassion. Alex was baptized at the Rochester Pentecostal Church. His love for others will never be forgotten. Alex will be greatly missed.
Alexander is survived by his mother, Tamara Schrock; Maternal Grandparents, Pamela and Lester Schrock; his four sisters, Carissa (Schrock) Brommerich and brother in law Chad Brommerich, Madison Peterson and brother in law-Alexander Pastorious, Tiarah Peterson and Arianna Peterson; Nieces and Nephews, Alayna and Eli Brommerich, Waylon Pastorious, and Jabari Schrock; Aunt and Uncle, Jeffrey and Holly Schrock; Great-Grandmother, Marjorie West; Cousins, Max Youngbear, Kordell Schrock, Athena Schrock and Kalem Schrock and many great Aunts/Uncles and Cousins who all were very important in Alex’s life.
Alex is preceded in death and will be greeted in Heaven by his Dog Audi, Maternal Great- Grandparents, Virgil and Peg (Mable) Schrock and his Maternal Great- Grandfather Robert West of Waterloo, Iowa.
Visitation will be held Friday May 9, 2025 from 5-8 p.m. at Mahn Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing, MN. The Funeral for Alex will be held Saturday May 10, 2025 starting at 3pm officiated by Pastor Robert Kaske at Mahn Funeral Home located in Red Wing, MN.
