Ann Elizabeth Streiff

Ann Elizabeth (Pierce) Streiff, 74, of Zumbrota, Minnesota, died on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Elysian Fields in Red Wing, Minnesota.

Ann was born on October 19, 1951, to Bill and Mary (Petersdorf) Pierce in Rochester, Minnesota. She grew up in Pine Island and graduated from Pine Island High School in 1969. Ann married Gayle Streiff on July 30, 1977. She was a proud mom and loved working with kids. Ann worked as a paraprofessional in the Zumbrota-Mazeppa School District for over 30 years… she always had a soft spot for the naughty kids. She will be missed.

Ann is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Gayle Streiff; son, Brian (Amy Frank) Streiff; sisters, Mary Ellen Godbe and Janet Ryan; and brothers, Daniel and Bill Pierce. She is preceded in death by her father, Bill Pierce; mother, Mary Klingsborn; stepfather, Max Klingsborn; and brother-in-law, Mike Ryan.

A visitation will take place from 5-7pm on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Mahler Chapel in Pine Island. Memorial service will be held at 1pm on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Pine Island United Methodist Church with Pastor Allison Schwarz officiating, visitation an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Pine Island Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to American Legion Post 588 in Mazeppa.
