Betty Lou Hadler, 92, of Zumbrota, died Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the Zumbrota Health Services. She was born on October 8, 1933, in Dodge Center to Christopher and Stella (Hoseth) Myran. She was baptized on November 5, 1933, and confirmed on May 16, 1948, both at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wanamingo. She graduated in 1952 from Wanamingo High School. On January 24, 1953, she was united in marriage to Merlyn Hadler at Grace Lutheran Parsonage. They were blessed with six children, Veronica, Corinne, Wendy, Marilyn, Kari and Jon. They farmed for many years on the Hadler family farm. Betty was a wonderful housewife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking and canning. Most of all she looked forward to being surrounded with the love of her family and friends. Betty was also an active member of Grace Lutheran Church for many years.

Betty is survived by her six children, Veronica “Roni” (Dave) Groth of Pine Island, Corinne (Byran) Schacht of Rochester, Wendy (Bryan Marshman) Hadler- Granrud of Rochester, Marilyn Windhorst (Jon Mulack) of Zumbrota, Kari (Gary Serbus) Hadler of Olivia and Jon (Janice) Hadler of Ankeny, IA; eight grandchildren, Christopher (Jennifer) Groth, Lindsey (Jim) Shinners, Baron Windhorst, Karley (Travis) Bavier, Ashley (Clayton) Hanson, Jaxton (Kassie Picino) Molenaar, Adriana (Andrew Holland) Molenaar and Juliana (Cody) Sweeny; seven great grandchildren, Greyson and Jayda Schueler, Noah and Stella Bavier, Sutton and Seger Hanson and Finnegan Sweeny; five sisters, Sonia (Wesley) Larson, Janet (Don) Harrison, Crystal Powell, Randi Andresen and Arlys Thompson; sister-in-law, Ann Myran along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Merlyn on October 27, 2017, and three brothers, David, Lars and Stuart Myran.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church, 39774 County 4 Blvd., Goodhue, MN with Reverend Martin Weigand officiating. Burial will be at the Zumbrota Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Larson Chapel in Zumbrota.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staff at St. Croix Hospice and Zumbrota Health Services for the wonderful love, care and kindness they provided to Betty.
