Betty Lou Solberg

Betty Lou Solberg, 84, of Red Wing, Minnesota, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025. She was born to Donovan and Beth (Wallace) Johnson in Poplar, Montana on November 12, 1941. Betty grew up in Poplar and graduated from Poplar High School. On March 26, 1960, she married Roy Solberg in Poplar, Montana. They had two daughters, Stacy and Royal. Betty was a proud farm wife, she also worked as a dental receptionist for 10 years in Big Sandy, Montana. Betty enjoyed crafting, reading, and cooking.

She is survived by her daughters, Stacy (Scott Nelson) Solberg and Royal (Jeff) Keckley; Granddaughters, Courtney (Nick) Hince and Ashley (TJ Olson) Shaw; Grandson, Nate (Arelly) Keckley; Great-Grandsons, Brady, Barrett, and Waylon; her sister, Sharon Ojile; special friend, Jamie Shaw; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Solberg; brother, Bob Johnson; and parents, Beth and Don Johnson.
