Beverly Trinka

Beverly Joyce Trinka, age 94, of Rochester, Minnesota passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026. She was born on April 9, 1932, in rural Dunn County, North Dakota to Matt and Goldie Remsing. She married Ted Trinka in California on New Years Eve in 1953.

Beverly graduated from Dunn Center High School and worked her entire career assisting farmers in Minot, North Dakota with their Federal Crop Insurance needs. Reading, gardening, baking and birdwatching were her passions in retirement. She had a special love for chickadees.

She will be fondly remembered for her warmth, quiet strength, and generosity. She is survived by her sister-in-law Joanne Remsing, six nieces/nephews, nine great nieces/nephews, four great-great nieces/nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister Marilyn Root, and brothers Bill, Darrell and Donovan Remsing.

Arrangements were provided by Mahn Family Funeral Home in Zumbrota, Minnesota and Weigel Funeral and Cremation Service in Mandan, North Dakota. A memorial service and internment in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan, North Dakota is planned for Monday, September 14 at 9:00 a.m. Her family is grateful for the kindness and support shown during this time.
