Bradley David Hovland, 60, of Maiden Rock, Wisconsin, passed away October 20, 2025 at Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Mary's Campus. Born on July 20, 1965, in Mason City, IA to David and Kay (Haugen) Hovland. Brad graduated from Red Wing Central High School and began his journey in construction, initially working with Gadient Brothers Construction. For the past 26 years, he proudly worked at Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant in many different roles, most recently as a General Superintendent. He met Patti Manor, through mutual friends and they were married on May 20, 1995, in Red Wing, Minnesota. Together, they created a loving home along the river in Hager City before Brad lovingly built their home in Maiden Rock. Brad’s pride and joy were his children, Dylan and Danyelle. Watching his son become a father and supporting his daughter and wife at rodeo events were of few of his favorite things. Brad’s grandchildren Kora, Thomas, and Nellie were the highlights of his life. A warm smile and an infectious sense of humor characterized his presence; he had a special knack for brightening every room he entered. He was a true giver, always ready to lend a helping hand, no matter the task. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patti of Maiden Rock, WI; children, Dylan (Kennedy) Hovland of Hillsdale, WI and Danyelle (Fiance, Nick Pelke) Hovland of Maiden Rock, WI; grandchildren, Kora, Thomas, and Nellie; his brother, Daniel (Amy) Hovland of Woodbury, Minnesota; sister, Angela (Brian) Curry of Blue Eye, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews. Brad was preceded in death by his parents, David and Kay Hovland, and an infant sister, Kimberly Jo Hovland. A Celebration of Brad's Life will be Friday, October 24, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing.
