Carla Hilleshiem

Carla Hilleshiem, born in Red Wing, Minnesota on June 28, 1967 to Marjorie (Blaisdell) and Carl Hilleshiem at St. John’s Hospital. She was raised in Red Wing and Lake City where she graduated in 1986.

She is survived by her siblings, Randy Hilleshiem, Robert Hilleshiem, Cathy Weisz, and Christie Hilleshiem; nieces and nephews, Zachery Knudsen (Plank), Marissa Buckingham (Plank), David (Brandie) Weisz, and Amber Weisz; and great nieces and nephews, Arabella, Colton, Hunter, and Blakely.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Carla was a sweet and caring person who loved her family and friends with all her heart. She fought a short but hard battle with ALS, which took her life on July 6, 2025 on her father’s birthday. Now Carla is a beautiful angle in Heaven, pain free and at peace.

A celebration of life will be Sunday, August 17, 2025 from 1-4 p.m. at Colvill Park Pavilion 1. Arrangements with the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
