Carrie Elizabeth Andrews

Carrie Elizabeth Andrews, 42, of Red Wing, formerly of Derby, Connecticut, died Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at her home.

She was born March 6, 1981 in Derby to Harold Andrews and Karen Milardo. She grew up in the area and graduated from Derby High School, class of 1999. After graduation she went on to work for Xpect Discount and then to Stop & Shop where she worked until she moved in 2017. Carrie moved with her mother to Florida to be nearer to her brother, Michael. In 2019 she and her mother moved to Red Wing, Minnesota to be near her younger brother, Matthew.

Carrie was a homebody who enjoyed reading sci-fi and fantasy novels. She kept mostly to herself, but she enjoyed chatting with people who shared similar interests on the internet. She was very close with her family and didn’t have mean bone in her body. She was sweet and kind with everyone she met.

She is survived by her mother; Karen Milardo of Red Wing; father, Harold Andrews; brothers, Michael Andrews of Palm Coast, Florida, and Matthew Milardo of Zumbrota, Minnesota; nieces and nephews, Aaliyah, Destiny, and Leo Andrews, and Thomas Milardo; uncles, Jim and Joseph Milardo; aunt, Cathy Andrews; and her cousin, Amanda Milardo.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents; Pauline and Joseph Milardo; grandmother, Lucille Andrews; great-grandmother and namesake, Carrie Castiello; aunt, Sue Castiello; and cousin, Mitchell Milardo, and her dog, Brittany.
