Red Wing

Corrinne Shirley Enberg, 85, of Red Wing, died Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the Benedictine Living Community – St. Crispin’s in Red Wing. She was on born November 15, 1939, to Herbert Enberg and Bernice Barsness of Hager City Wisconsin. She attended Ellsworth Schools. In 1957, she married Lester Lee Hinz Sr. They lived in Red Wing and then moved to Hager City. They later divorced. In 1976, she married Ray Trok and they lived in Ellsworth, Wisconsin; he died in 1980. She worked for Red Wing Shoe Company twice, then went back to school for bookkeeping. She then worked for the Teamsters Union in Red Wing and Lawrence Realty Red Wing. In 1983, she opened her own daycare in Red Wing and worked there until she retired. She lived with her son Tim for some years, before moving to Jordon Towers, Potters Ridge and was currently living at St. Crispin Living Community prior to her death. She enjoyed sewing and working with yarn and made and gave away many things in her lifetime.

She was raised at Bethel Covenant Church Ellsworth, converted to Mormonism and realized that wasn’t for her and then became a born-again Christian. She was a member of First Covenant Church of Red Wing. She is devout in her faith and looked forward to joining her loved ones, who have passed, in heaven. She is comforted by the scriptures (We are saved by faith and grace and when we die and go to heaven there will be no more sorrow and no more pain).

She is preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, her brothers Leo, Thomas, and William D Enberg. She is survived by her three children Lester (Lee) Hinz, wife Julie of Red Wing, Roxanna Hinz, husband Michael Waslie of Anoka, MN and Timothy Hinz, wife Janice of Red Wing; grandchildren Ryan, Lisa and Danielle Hinz, Lucas and Roseanne Waslie and step grandchildren Heather and Jessica St. Dennis; 14 great grandchildren; one brother Herbert Enberg Hager City; special niece, Sheri and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 27 2025, at the Kinne-Engelhart American Legion Post #204, 139 South Oak St. in Ellsworth WI. ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ Arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing.
