Daniel Joseph Bartlewski

Daniel Joseph Bartlewski, 80, of Red Wing died on Monday, October 12, 2026 at home. He was born on April 9, 1946 to Joseph and Arline (Fridell) Bartlewski in Red Wing, Minnesota. Daniel was united in marriage to Doreen Kay Johnson on September 17, 1966 in Red Wing, Minnesota.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Doreen; daughters, Rhonda (Chris) Johnson and Amy (Kurt) Koester; grandchildren, Anthony (Brandi) Johnson, Marcus (Grace) Koester, Macy (Trey) Pottinger, and Danielle Johnson; great-granddaughters, Grace and Delilah Johnson; his sister, Joanne (Steve) Buysse; and his brother, Randy Bartlewski.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Arline; grandson, Mitchell Koester; his sister, Judy; and his brother, Tom.

Daniel loved spending time with family. His late grandson, Mitchell, and him were two peas in a pod.

Per Daniel's wishes he will be cremated. No services are planned at this time. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
