Darla Johnson

Darla Jean Johnson, 66, of Red Wing, died peacefully on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at her home. She was born on July 9, 1959, in Red Wing to LaVerne and Darlene (Bartz) Johnson. She graduated from Red Wing Central High School in 1977, and for a few years she worked at Riedell Shoes, Inc. For over 40 years she has worked as a bartender at various establishments mainly at the Red Men Club in Red Wing. Darla enjoyed playing bingo at the Legion and playing cards with her family. She always looked forward to her yearly trip to Mexico.

Darla is survived by her son, Eric; two brothers, Kevin (Diane) Johnson and Keith Johnson; significant other, Dennis Kohner along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A celebration of life and benefit as planned will be on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Red Men  Club in Red Wing. Arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
