Deborah Richmond

Deborah F. Richmond, age 70, of Red Wing died Saturday, May 18, 2024. She was born January 20, 1954 in Minneapolis to Fayette and Beatrice (Morgan) Poole. She grew up in the Minneapolis area. She married George D. Nelson and had five children. Deborah spent much of her life raising her children. George passed away and she later married Douglas Richmond. She moved to Red Wing area in the early 2000s where she worked at the St. James and as a nurse's aid at one of the nursing homes.

She is survived by her daughter, Alicia (Daniel) Smith; sons, Lance, George, and Billy Nelson; sister, Brenda Dettmen and numerous grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, George Nelson and Douglas Richmond; son, Donny; and sister, Rita Marxen.

Graveside Service will take place 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at the Diamond Bluff Cemetery.
