Debra Lea Johnson, 73, of Red Wing, died peacefully at her home on Monday, August 24, 2026. She was born January 30, 1953 in Red Wing to Donald and Beverly (Pollard) Warwick.
She grew up in Red Wing and graduated from Red Wing Central High School. She was an LPN, before stepping away to be a devoted stay at home mom to her three daughters.
Debbie had an undeniable flair for finding joy in the simple pleasures in life. She was the QVC queen, and a country girl at heart who grew up showing horses. She loved animals, houseplants and gardening vegetables, which she spent every fall turning into preserved treasures she shared with her family. She spent most of her days puttering around the house and listening to Dolly Parton.
Debbie cherished her outings with her friends, who she called "the girls", catching up over coffee or trying their luck at the penny slots. Her spunky, caring nature and sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She thrived on hearing loved ones laughing at her jokes.
Most of all, Debbie's family was her greatest treasure, and dedicated her life to them. In her final years she was honored to serve as the confidant and sole caretaker of her beloved mother, Beverly.
Debbie leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and thoughtfulness that will forever be missed by her daughters; Kelly (Gary) German, Katie (Eric) Sloan, and Karisa (Aaron) Cody; six grandchildren, Kayla (Travis) Heit, Abby (Dan Flett) Beyer, Greta and Tommy Sloan, Skylar and Nola Cody. Six great-grandchildren, Harper, Blake, Colton, Rohen, Axel, and Raiden.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Beverly Warwick.
