Dorothy Ann Pasch, 94, of Red Wing, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at Benedictine Living Community-the Villa, with her loving family by her side. She was born on November 23, 1930, in Morris, MN to Francis and Lola (Hays) Manney. She graduated from Morris High School and received her teaching degree from Moorhead State University. On June 19, 1954, she married Albert Pasch and they were blessed with four children, William, Mara, Robert and Thomas. They moved to Red Wing in the early 1960’s. She and Albert later divorced. Dorothy taught a few years in Hancock, MN. While living in Red Wing, Dorothy decided to go back to college and attended the University of Wisconsin- River Falls. For 19 years she taught at Burnside Elementary School retiring in 1995.

Dorothy found teaching to be her passion, but also enjoyed baking and cooking. Her family will always remember her wonderful meals and treats. She would also find time for shopping, visiting with friends and even refinishing furniture. Faith and family were most important to her. She was a member of the Church of St. Joseph and assisted on the funeral serving committee. Dorothy always enjoyed being around her family and attending their activities over the years. She will be remembered for gentleness, kindness, love and thoughtfulness.

Dorothy is survived by her four children, William (Lisa) Pasch of Red Wing, Mara (Randy) Schulz of Red Wing, Robert (Teri) Pasch of Escondido, CA and Thomas (Sheila) Pasch of Goodhue; nine grandchildren, Briana (fiancé Jesse) Byrne, Stephanie (Nate) Walch, Nikki (Tyler) Johnson, Jennifer (Stephen) Judy, Rebecca (Ryon) Rhodes, Katherine (Jeff) Alexander, Jonathan (fiancé Madison) Pasch, Alyssa Pasch and Jacob (Taylor) Pasch; 11 great grandchildren, Lawrence, Marshall, Kennedy, Preston, Tessa, Colson, Asher, Jackson, Sawyer, Peyton and Jordan; sister-in- law, Maryann Manney of Moorhead and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Colleen Rentz and Jane Watzke and two brothers, John and William Manney.

A private family Mass will be held at the Church of St. Joseph. Burial will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Morris, MN. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to St. Croix Hospice. Arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
