Doug Young

Doug L. Young, 68, of Beldenville, passed away at his home on February 5, 2025. He was born in Red Wing, Minn., to Donald and Betty (Helmer) Young. Doug attended a vo-tech school in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, and later worked as a telephone lineman. He later moved back to Beldenville and worked various jobs around Ellsworth. A lifelong jokester, Doug's family will miss the many jokes he would tell. Doug enjoyed spending quality time with friends and family, looking forward to his regular Saturday get-togethers with the Truesdill family.

Doug is survived by his two sons Bo (Kalee) Delander, and Dustin Young; step-daughters Charlie Best, and Billie Allen; siblings David (Judy) Young, Dwight (Fran) Young, Joyce Hadler, Lyle (Jean) Young, Shirley (Nick) Loesch, Vernon Young, Ralph (significant other, Diana Bostany) Young, Roger (Glenda) Young; grandchildren Colt & Laney Delander; and many other family members. Special thanks to Danny Huppert for being a supportive friend, for going above and beyond for Doug.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Earl Young; and infant siblings Louis and Louise Young.
