Frances Freerksen

Frances Freerksen of Wabasha, MN, 53, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at St. Mary’s Mayo Hospital in Rochester.

Frances was born on November 17, 1970 in Zumbrota, MN to Francis & Judith (Roberts) Plank. She grew up in Lake City. Frances married James Freerksen on August 16, 2014 in Kasson, MN. After they were married, they moved to Lake City. They later moved to Wabasha. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing.

She is survived by her husband James Freerksen; her daughters, Heather Eggenberger of Lake City, Whitlieanna (Shane) Yennie of Lake City; sons, Cody Plank of Rush City, MN., Kyle Allers of Rush City, MN.; 12 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Lisa Virnig of Lake City, Terri Erickson of Rochester, Rebecca (John) Halpaus of Arkansaw, WI.; 2 brothers Chad Plank of St. Peter, MN, Tim Reinhart of La Crosse, WI.

She is preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister Janet Perkins and a brother Todd Swaningson; 1 grandson, Easton Yennie, a brother In-Law Bob Vernig.
