Fredrick A. Hanson

Fredrick Allen Hanson, 38, of Red Wing, died Monday, April 11, 2022 at his residence in Lake City.  He was born March 2, 1984, in Red Wing, to Terry and Patricia (Johnson) Hanson and attended school in Red Wing, class of 2002.  He worked several places in the area including:  Pestop, St. James Hotel, Dairy Queen, Papa Murphy’s and Subway.  He loved playing frisbee golf, hiking the bluffs, playing cards and board games and bead working.  He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed joking around and practical jokes.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Hanson of Austin; sister, Stephanie (Todd) Jerabek of Plainfield, IL; brother, Charlie (Kimmy) Hanson of Austin; 2 nieces, Jamie and Hannah Jerabek; his significant other, Elizabeth Davidson and her son, Noah; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Terry Hanson; his grandparents; 3 aunts, an uncle and a cousin.

Memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Dana Jackson officiating.  A reception will follow the service at the Leo C. Peterson American Legion in Red Wing.
