Gaye L. (Siemer) Larson

Gaye Leone Larson, 74, of Red Wing, died Thursday, November 23, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on March 12, 1949, in Bethesda, Maryland to Harold and Leone (Beckler) Siemer.  On April 28, 1974, she married Allan Larson in South Dakota.  She taught for many years at area schools and prior to her retirement she worked for the US Customs and Border Protection in the Twin Cities for 10 years.  She attended Vasa Lutheran Church, volunteered at River Bluff Humane Society and enjoyed being part of a local knitting group.

Gaye is survived by her loving husband, Allan; two sons, Christopher (Sara) Larson and Michael (Ellie) Larson; four grandchildren, Benjamin, Evelyn, Charlotte and Catherine and one brother, Harold Bradley Siemer.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Per Gaye’s request, no services will be held.  Memorials are preferred to the River Bluff Humane Society.  Arrangements are by Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
