Georgie Ann (Murray) Fahy, age 92, of Rochester, Minnesota, passed away after a full and blessed life. Born October 23, 1932, she was the 15th of 16 children in a close-knit family of eight boys and eight girls.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Fahy. Married in 1950, they shared 54 wonderful years together. They found time to travel-visiting California, Yellowstone, Europe, Mexico, Hawaii, and many places across the U.S.
Georgie adored her siblings, especially her sisters, who were her best friends. For those who knew the Murray girls, their shared laugh was unforgettable. As the last surviving sibling, she often spoke of how much she missed them.
Easygoing, quick to laugh, and deeply faithful, Georgie was proud of her Irish Catholic roots. She loved crossword puzzles, embroidery, reading, and playing the piano for fun. Known for her cute hats and love of costume jewelry, she brought lighthearted charm wherever she went.
She is survived by her daughters: Kathleen Clausen (Rich), Mary Catellier (Gary), and Jean Fahy (Dustin Krause); grandchildren: Kyle Clausen (Bethany), Kelly Burson (Stephen), Kasey Crawford (Mike), Chris Catellier, Tim Catellier, Alex Granillo, and Katie Krause; six great-grandchildren, and special friend, Jann Shaffer
