Geraldine Meier

Geraldine Marie Meier, 85, of Bay City, died Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at her home. She was born in Red Wing on August 12, 1940, to Gerald and Esther (Hillman) Foster. She attended schools in Bay City. On September 13, 1957, she was united in marriage to Rodney Meier in Red Wing and they resided in Bay City. Geraldine enjoyed feeding and watching the birds and tending to her flowers, but most of all spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Geraldine is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Rodney; one daughter, Penny Meier of Red Wing; two grandchildren, Tony Tri and Jamie Tri; seven great-grandchildren; three great great grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Catherine Foster.

Graveside service at the Bay City Cemetery in Bay City are pending. Arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing.
