Glennes Darrel Pahl

Glennes Pahl, 85, of Zumbrota, passed away at the Cannon River Memory Care Center in Cannon Falls on Friday, May 13, 2022. He was born November 7, 1936, in Zumbrota to Rudolph and Esther (Reese) Pahl. He grew up on the family farm in Zumbrota Township of rural Zumbrota. He farmed with his father and later with his brother, Darren. He enjoyed farming and had a tender heart for all of his animals and pets. He was proud of his antique Oliver tractors.

Glennes was confirmed at Christ Lutheran Church of Zumbrota and later became a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Mazeppa, MN. He graduated from Zumbrota High School in 1954. He married in 1981 and later was divorced.

Glennes is survived by his brother, Darren (Linda); sisters-in-law, Gin Pahl and Vernetta Pahl; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Esther and brothers, Harlan Pahl and Duane Pahl.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 23, 2022, at United Redeemer Lutheran Church in Zumbrota with Reverend Dr. Marggi Pleiss-Sippola officiating. Visitation will be from 3 until 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Larson Chapel in Zumbrota and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
