Grace Catherine Frazier, 78, of Red Wing, died Friday, September 26, 2014 at her home. She was born on April 14, 1936 in New Trier, Minnesota to Joseph and Magdalena (Bauer) Reinardy. On August 20, 1960 she married Harold Frazier at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Trier. For many years she worked for Smeads in Hastings and Jostens in Red Wing. She was a member of the Church of St. Joseph and a 4H leader for the Burnside Club. She enjoyed gardening, baking, sewing, and spending time with family.
Survivors include her husband, Harold; one son, Joe (Cathy) Frazier of Eagan; two daughters, Jean (Dan) Mehrkens of Cedartown, GA, and Rose Frazier of Red Wing; four grandsons, Kyle, Trevor, and Tanner Mehrkens, and Timothy Frazier; two brothers, Joseph (Carol) Jr. and Florian (Karen) Reinardy, all of New Trier; six sisters, Stella (George) Johnson of Prescott, WI, Mary Jane (Gerald) Nelson of Plum City, WI, Geraldine (Alvin) Langer of Prescott, WI, Anna (Gordy) Stoffel, Mary Reinardy, and Gloria (Ernie) Duffing all of Hastings; 56 nieces and nephews, and 12 in-laws from her husband's family.
She was preceded in death by an infant son and daughter, Mary and John; parents; a niece; and two brother-in-laws.
Mass of the Resurrection will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the Church of St. Joseph in Red Wing with Father Thomas M. Kommers presiding. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
