Hildegard Munson

Hildegard Lenz Munson, 89, of Red Wing, died Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at the Lake City Care Center. She was born Sept. 12, 1930, in Seckenheim, Germany, to Peter and Anna (Ziener) Lenz. She was educated in Germany and was also trained to become a female tailor. On January 24, 1955, she was united in marriage to Carl Munson and they lived in various parts of the world until his retirement from the US Army, when they moved to his home town of Wabasha, Minnesota.
She is survived by her husband, Carl; 4 children, Linda (Keith) Hough, Peter (Jane Johns) Munson, Charles (Teresa Howe) Lenz and Jason (Jackie) Munson; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
