Ihleen Millicent Goetz, of Lake City died on October 6, 2014 at Lake City Care Center.
Ihleen was born on March 27, 1935. She was the daughter of Theodore and Ruby (Ihle) Wold. She attended Minneapolis SW High School, and went on to graduate with a degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Minnesota and also Wells College in New York.
Ihleen married Eugene Goetz on June 3, 1967 in Hopkins, Minnesota. They traveled the world making travel and adventure movies until their son Karl was born. They moved to Lake City and she worked for the Girl Scouts of America for many years. She enjoyed the outdoors, sewing, and many other interests.
Private services will be held at a later date.
