Jacqueline “Jackie” Ann (Martinson) Duden, 82, of Red Wing, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the Mayo Clinic Hospital, St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester, Minnesota.
She was born to Virgil and Alma (Nielsen) Martinson on May 30, 1943, in Red Wing, MN. She graduated from Red Wing High School in 1961. In June of 1961, she married Howard Leavitt, they later divorced. On January 29, 1966, she married Duane Duden. They lived on their dairy farm in Featherstone township until July of 2025 when they made the move to Goodhue Living in Goodhue, MN. Jackie worked at Interstate Medical Center in Red Wing in the Patient Accounts Department for 45 years. Duane and Jackie enjoyed traveling, they had the opportunity to visit many interesting destinations together. Jackie was a loving mother and grandmother who loved attending her grandchildren and great-grandchildren events over the years. To know Jackie was to know someone whose first thought was always for others.
She is survived by her husband, Duane; children, Terri (Morris) Dicke of Red Wing, Duane Jr (Juli) of Sioux Center, IA, and Craig (Wendi) of Red Wing; grandchildren, Marcia, Jay, Glenna (Matt), Hailemichael, Abel, Mei Li, Grady, Jacob (Jessica), and Emily; great-grandchildren, Weston, Amalia, and Malory Dicke, and Hannah Duden. Jackie is also survived by her two siblings, Sharon Johnson of Billings, MT and Lynn (Rosanna) Martinson of Red Wing. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; son, Brett; and brother-in-law, Jim Johnson.
A visitation will take place on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 4-7 p.m. at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing, Minnesota. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Red Wing, with Rev. Dave Schierenbeck officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will take place at Hope Cemetery in Featherstone Township immediately following the service. Memorial donations are preferred for the American Heart Association, Alzheimer’s Association, and Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church.
