Jessica Lynn Nitchals

Jessica Lynn Nitchals, 43, of Red Wing, died Thursday, April 2, 2026 at her home. She was born July 27, 1982 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Daryl and Tammy (Downs) Nitchals.

She grew up in River Falls and graduated high school. Following graduation, she began waitressing and bartending. For the last 13 years she bartended at the Woodshed in Hager City. She was dedicated to her work and her family. She enjoyed shopping, especially thrift stores and garage sales. Most of all she loved being a grandmother to her grandkids.

She is survived by her children, Antonio O’Brien, Anthony Wells, Shawana Wells, Zachary Rowan, Braden Lindstrom, Brooklyn Rowan, Kaleb Rowan, Adrian Rowan; grandchildren, Harmony, Antonio, Jr., Maphiya, Clayton, and Myles; mother, Tammy (Michael Hopkins) Nitchals; brothers, Jacob (Eliso) Nitchals, Joseph Nitchals, Jonathan (Jessica) Nitchals; fiancé, Travis Rowan Sr.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents; father, Daryl Nitchals, and step-son, Travis Rowan, Jr.

Funeral service will be 2p.m. Friday, April 10, 2026 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with a visitation one hour prior to the service. A Celebration of Life will be 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Woodshed in Hager City, WI.
