Joseph Harold Morseth

Joseph Harold Morseth, 84 years old, of Zumbrota, MN, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025, at home surrounded by his family, whom he cherished so dearly.

Joseph was born on November 12, 1941 in Goodhue, MN, to Peder and Eda (Kunde) Morseth. Joseph was united in marriage to Sandy Wood on September 7, 1963, in Red Wing, MN. Sandy and Joe spent 60 wonderful years together before Sandy passed in 2023.

Joe had an extraordinary work ethic, retiring from Dairy Farmers of America in Zumbrota after 42 years. He also had a passion for farming and raised many of his grandchildren, as well as, his children on the family farm in Zumbrota. He especially loved ranger riding with his dog companion, Bella, grilling or cooking, and spending a lot of time outdoors.

Joseph is survived by three children, John (Corinne) Moreth of Zumbrota, MN Wanda Hall of Zumbro Falls, MN, Lisa (Galen) Warnke of Zumbrota, MN; 16 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Peder and Eda Morseth; his wife, Sandra (Wood) Morseth; his son, Joseph Morseth, Jr.; grandson, Cody Morseth; and his brother Marlin Morseth; and sister, Irene Schroeder.

A memorial service for Joseph will be at 11 a.m. Friday, December 12, 2025, at Minneola Lutheran Church in Goodhue with Reverend Hannah Bergstrom de Leon officiating. Visitation will be at the church for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Minneola Lutheran Church Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Larson Chapel in Zumbrota, Minnesota.
