Judith Raymond

Judith Lynn Raymond, 86, of Red Wing, died Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the Ellsworth Health service in Ellsworth. She was born on September 29, 1939, in Excelsior, Minnesota to Clayton and Dagny (Bjornvold) Aldritt. She graduated from Minnetonka High School in 1957. On August 27, 1960, she was united in marriage to Thomas Raymond. They resided in the Twin Cities where she worked at Deli Express, in the Deli department at a grocery store and then Target. In 2021, she moved to Red Wing to be closer to her son, Wade. She enjoyed bird watching and telling jokes, in which she was known as the “joke lady.” She was a cat lover and raised many cats over the years.

Judith is survived by her son, Wade (Sherri) Raymond; two grandchildren, Phil and Jeni; one sister, Marcia Schiferli and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Jon; daughter, Keri Henderson; brother, Phil Aldritt and sister, Joyce Zuehl.

A celebration of life will be held at later date. Arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing.
