June Marie Liljevall

June Marie Liljevall, 95, of Lake City passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025 after living at Mayo Clinic Heath System - Lake City Care Center for 7 years.

June was born on June 25, 1930 ,in Lake City, to Ervin & Viola “Goldie” (Fuller) Rothgarn. She grew up in Lake City and married Melvin Liljevall on April 20, 1956 in Wayzata, MN. They made there home in Lake City.

She worked for many years at Zero King Coat Factory in Lake City until they closed in 1995 and after they closed, Lake Side Foods in Plainview. June’s most favorite job was working in the kitchen at Chickadee Cottage in Lake City. She enjoyed camping at Whippoorwill Campground and spending time with her grand Children.

June is survived by her children; Michael (Kim) Liljevall of Lake City, Barbara (Randy) Ranvek of Lake City, Jerry (Terri) Teeson of Coon Rapids; 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin, her daughter, Linda Liljevall, her parents; 7 brothers and 2 sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 10 am with Chaplin Dan Crapo officiating at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Lake City.
