Justin J. Eppen

Justin James Eppen, 42, of Red Wing, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at his home. He was born on February 8, 1983, in Red Wing to James and Lori (Robinson) Eppen. He graduated from Red Wing High School in 2001. During his high school years, he was part of the Environmental Learning Center and was a naturalist instructor. Not only enjoying nature and the outdoors, Justin had a love for golf and downhill skiing. He always looked forward to these fun activities with family and friends. Justin worked several factory jobs and most recently was employed by the Red Wing Shoe Company.

Justin is survived by his loving parents; Jim and Lori Eppen of Red Wing; two brothers, Chad of Red Wing and Jerrod (Deanna) Eppen and their children, Zoey and Asher of Blaine, MN, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A celebration of life will be from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2025, at the Colvill Courtyard at Colvill Park.  Burial will be at the Calvary Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the Environmental Learning Center. Arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing.
