Justin Howard Ogden

Justin Howard Ogden, born on April 22, 1980, in San Bernardino, California, passed away on June 19, 2024, in Rochester, MN, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Justin was the beloved son of John Ogden and Christy Nelson. He was preceded in death by his mother, Christy; his brother, Benjamin "Beau"; his nephew, Nathyn; and his best friend, Patrick. Justin is survived by his father, John; his children, Jeffrey, Casey, Alexandra, Tayler, Livia, and Jaxson; his brother, Jeret; grandparents, Katy and Merrill Bjorngaard; his girlfriend, Ashley; as well as nieces, nephews, and numerous other family and friends.

A man of many passions, Justin had a deep love for the outdoors. He enjoyed hiking, camping, and searching for reptiles. Animals held a special place in his heart, he cherished all creatures great and small. Music was another love of Justin's, with his favorite bands being Alice In Chains and Pantera. A nonconformist at heart, Justin was deeply spiritual in his own unique way.

Though his home states California and Washington held special significance for him, Justin's unwavering devotion to his family ultimately led him to Minnesota during his final months. His selfless nature and boundless love for his children were evident to all who knew him. Justin was a proud father and a loyal friend, always willing to go above and beyond for those he cared about. His infectious laughter and penchant for creating silly videos brought joy to many.

In Justin's passing, the world has lost a kind soul, a loving father, and a cherished friend. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love that he so freely gave during his time on earth.
