Karen M. Johnson

Karen Marna (Kvamme) Johnson died on Wednesday, April 10th, at Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna, MN. Karen was 81 years old. She was born on November 14th, 1937, to Gerhard and Stella (Lexvold), Kvamme in Minneola Township, near Wanamingo. She graduated from Wanamingo High School in 1955. She began working at the Mayo Clinic as a medical secretary. Her later years were spent at Valley View Assisted Living in Owatonna. Karen is survived by her sister, Dorothy and husband Ken, brother-in-law, Don Greseth, nieces, nephews and cousins. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Phyllis, and one nephew. She was loved by all of her family and also friends at Valley View and all who knew Karen. There will be no service at this time. Burial will be later at Minneola Lutheran Church Cemetery.
