Kathryn `Kay` Hoksch

Kathryn A. "Kay" Hoksch, 85, of Byron died Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, April 22, 2006 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Byron. Burial will be in St. Paul?s Catholic Church Cemetery in Zumbrota. A rosary service will be held on Friday at 6 PM, followed by visitation until 8:00 PM at Mahn Family Funeral Home ? Rochester Chapel. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Kathryn Ann Krick was born on September 22, 1920 in Chester Township, Wabasha County to Anthony and Agnes (Musty) Krick. Kay married Harlen Hoksch on February 7, 1945 at St. John?s Catholic Church in Rochester. She was a longtime employee of Telex Corporation. Kay and Harlen moved to Byron in 1978; she was an active member of the Senior Citizens Group in Byron and enjoyed playing 500. She also was an avid Twins fan. Kay is survived by her husband; daughter, Sandy (Dennis) Simonson of Switzerland, FL; two grandsons, Paul and Tyson Simonson; two brothers, Arthur (Marilyn) Krick of Minneapolis and Chuck Weber of Coon Rapids and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Phyllis Ingersoll. Memorials are suggested to the family or Christ the King Catholic Church. Arrangements are with Mahn Family Funeral Home - Rochester Chapel.
