Kelton Goings, Jr.

Kelton Seron Goings, Jr. was received into the arms of Jesus on Monday, June 9, 2025, not quite a month after his first birthday. Even though his days were too few, Kelton will remain a bright light in the lives of those who loved him.

He was born May 13, 2024 in Wichita, Kansas to Myeisha Boyd and Kelton Goings, Sr. Kelton was an easy, happy baby. Shortly after he was born Kelton needed surgery. He was so strong, coming out of the hospital, all smiles. He loved Fruit Loops and Oreos, spending time with his big brother and his daddy, but he was definitively a mama’s boy.

While he will be deeply missed in this life, his family now entrusts his care to the Lord until they can one day hold him close again.

He is survived by his parents, Myeisha and Kelton, Sr.; big brother, Kaizion; grandmothers, Crystal Birgans and Regina Terry; great-grandparents, Tonnette and Aree Boyd; uncles and aunts, Tyrell Smith, Phillip Boyd, Chardonnay Terry and Alyshia Johnson.

A memorial gathering will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025 at New River Assembly of God with Rev. Grahm Johnson officiating.
