Kevin Ray Jenkins, 43, of Red Wing, formerly of Jackson, Minnesota, died Friday, March 9, 2012 at his sister's home in Red Wing. He was born on May 20, 1968 in Jackson to Leonard and Darlene (Hampel) Jenkins. He graduated in 1986 from Jackson High School. He married Michelle Campney and they later divorced. He worked for various plumbing companies in Minnesota and then lived in Las Vegas where he helped in the construction of the City Center. Since 2009 he has resided in Red Wing at his sister's home. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, NASCAR, snowmobiling and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include one son, James of Lake Park, Iowa; two sisters, Jody (Jerry) Roth of Red Wing and Pat (Alan) Baloun of Windom; one brother, Mark Jenkins of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; three nephews; one great niece and one great nephew and special friend, Stacie Dahl of Inver Grove Heights. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents,
Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Jackson with Rev. John Schuetz officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Jackson.
