Linda Bertram

Linda Ann Bertram, 76 of Wanamingo, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 4, 2024.

Born in 1947, in St Paul, Minnesota to Edward and Margaret Axelson, and resided in Welch and Wanamingo. Linda was a woman of remarkable strength and resilience, and throughout her life, she faced challenges with grace and courage.

Linda is survived by her son Michael (Brenda) Radke from Oklahoma and brother Jim (Donna) Axelson from Texas, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind countless friends and family who cherished her presence and admired her generous spirit. Her legacy of love, compassion, resilience, and love of cats will continue to inspire those who knew her.

Linda had a passion for photography, horseback riding, and animal rescues. She spent her adult life enjoying the life and love of every cat she adopted.

At Linda's request, there will be no memorial or funeral service; her wish was to be remembered by lifetime memories rather than end-of-life ceremonies. A private burial will be in the Cross of Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery in Welch.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to Camp Companion (animal rescue) in Rochester Minnesota in Linda's name and honor.
