Lois P. Anderson

Lois Pauline Anderson, 88, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2024 at Benedictine Living Community in Red Wing, Minn. Lois was born October 10, 1936 in Farmington, Minn. to Robert and Anna Alich. She was baptized, confirmed and raised in the faith at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, also in Farmington. On April 18, 1959 she married Homer Harold Anderson. They were blessed with 57 years of marriage and raised 3 children until Homer's  passing in 2016. 

Lois loved playing cards and dice, going to Texas as a “Winter Texan”, watching the Minnesota Twins, listening to music, her kids and her husband. 

Lois is survived by two sons, Doug of Minneapolis and Mike of Red Wing; brother, Bud; and multiple nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Homer; two daughters, Lisa and Lynn; her parents and her other siblings. 

Mass of Resurrection will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the Church of St. Joseph with Father Brandon Theisen presiding. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church. Burial at Calvary Cemetery in Red Wing. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Benedictine Living Community.
