Lois Marie Simanski, 88, of Red Wing, died Friday, December 12, 2025 at the Mayo Clinic Health Systems – Methodist Campus.
She was born August 17, 1937 in Cannon Falls to Evald and Effie (Anderson) Erickson. She attended Cannon Falls High School, class of 1955. After school she worked various places, including Syverson-Ryder Implement, Edgewood Supper Club and at the uniform department at Treasure Island. In 1963 she married Veron Simanski and the couple made their home in Ellsworth. Vernon passed away in 1995 and Lois moved back to Red Wing. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Red Wing.

She volunteered at the Sheldon Theater and helped drive paddle boat visitors around Red Wing. Most of all, Lois enjoyed her time with her family. In her later years she liked going out to eat and visiting.
