Lynn William Dammann

March 4, 1960 — April 14, 2026

Lake City

Lynn "Duff" William Dammann, 66, of Lake City, died Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at his home.

He was born March 4, 1960 in Lake City to Leo and Elaine (Schmidt) Dammann. He grew in Lake City and graduated in the class of 1978.

Duff was a jack-of-all-trades. He worked many jobs throughout the Lake City area, including at Gould, Hagedorn's, Wild Wings, and The Port of Call.

He was someone who enjoyed life. He didn't take himself too seriously and was no stranger to shenanigans in his younger years. Duff loved raising his 3 children and always found ways to take them on adventures. He taught them to hunt and fish, how to look for agates, and how to camp. He loved being outdoors and even made a hobby of storm chasing. He also liked wildlife photography, painting, heavy metal, and rock music. On Sundays, Duff could be found cheering on his favorite NASCAR drivers.

More than anything, Duff loved his family and he was proud to say he was from Lake City.

He is survived by his 3 children, Allie Dammann of Lake City, Katie (Neil Jaspers) Dammann of Winona, and Cody (Michelle) Dammann of Lake City; 4 grandchildren, Landon, Leo, Sage, and Callen; and two brothers, Pete and Tom Dammann.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Elaine.

A Celebration of Life will be 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 21, at Port 104 in Lake City. In honor of Duff, please wear your favorite band t-shirt or anything with camo. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.mahnfamilyfuneralhome.com
