Madison Fritsch

Madison Anne Fritsch, 19, of Zumbrota passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 12, 2024.

Madison was born in Rochester, Minnesota on March 22, 2005 at Olmsted Medical Center. She spent the first eleven years of her childhood living in Rochester with mother Sarah and stepfather, Justin. During this time, she was honored to become the big sister to brothers Grayson, Mason and Carson. The family moved to Zumbrota in 2016 where she attended Zumbrota-Mazeppa middle and high school.

Growing up, Madison loved to dance and was on her school's dance team. She loved music, Takis, pickles, and her beloved cats. What she loved most were the people in her life - shopping trips with grandma, plant shopping with mom, forcing her brothers to watch scary movies with her, the beach and ocean vacations.

Madison is survived by her mother, Sarah Fritsch Malecha; stepfather, Justin Malecha; biological father, James Philip Kempner; her brothers, Grayson Malecha, Mason Malecha, Carson Malecha, and Barron Kempner; maternal grandma, Nancy Fritsch (Rick Stori) of Rochester; maternal grandpa, Mark Fritsch (Gwen Fritsch) of Osage, IA; fraternal grandma, Ann Kempner (Emmett) of Wanamingo; step grandparents, Lyle and Christine Malecha of Prior Lake and Judy Eotvos (Michael McKenna) of Faribault; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Madison will be mourned by many and deeply missed by countless more. Those that knew and loved Madison will greatly miss her infectious laugh, her stunning smile, and most of all, her sweet soul that will shine bright forever.
