Mardelle (Reit) Kellar

Mardelle (Reit) Kellar, age 57, of Lake City, MN died Saturday March 25, 2006 at home. Mardelle was born September 5, 1948 in Santa Monica, CA to James & Ruth (Wallbaum) Mars. She grew up in Rockford, IA. Mardelle graduated from Rockford High School in 1966. She then moved to Charles City and worked at Band Box Cleaners/ Cintas for 20 years. She married James Kellar December 21, 1998 in Charles City, IA. In 2003 they moved to Lake City. Mardelle enjoyed crafting, cleaning, sewing, riding motorcycle, boating and fishing. She is survived by two daughters Allison (Dale) Schmitt of Charles City, IA, Heather (Tracy) Winters of Rockford, IA; five sons Charles (Dana) Breitkreutz of Jacksboro, TX, James (Jean) Breitkreutz of Colwell, IA, Steven (Dee) Breitkreutz of Charles City, IA, George (Kimberly) Usher of Charles City, IA, Michael (Eva) Kellar of Nevada, Ia; 18 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one brother Byron (Debra Janezeck) Mars of Virginia Beach,Virginia She was preceded in death by her parents. A visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8 at the Mahn Family Funeral Home Anderson-Peterson Chapel Lake City. There will be another visitation held Wednesday night from 5 to 8 at the Fullerton Funeral Home in Charles City, IA. A Memorial Services will be held Thursday at St. John?s Lutheran Church in Charles City at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Dennis Neizwaag officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Charles City. Friends may also call one hour before the service at the church.
