Martha Sue McClure

Martha Sue McClure, 70, of Hager City, died Sunday, February 4, 2024 at the Mayo Clinic Health Systems - St. Mary’s Hospital.

She was born August 14, 1953 in Ottumwa, Iowa to Raymond and Cora (Dimmit) Paxton. She grew up in Iowa where she graduated High School. She worked as a buyer in the electronics industry, most recently, Electronic Theatre Controls in Middleton, Wis. She retired several years ago. In 2021, she moved to Hager City. She enjoyed traveling and taking care of her animals.

She is survived by her boyfriend, Mike Mayer of Hager City; children, Arin McClure and Lori Ann Wolfe; grandchildren, Charlie and Leo McClure; sisters, Phyllis Dean and Carole Ann Rowsey; brother, Henry Paxton; as well as nieces and nephews, other family and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Betty Arlene Templeton; brother, Dale Eugene Paxton; and her parents.
