Michael LaDoucer

Michael LaDoucer, 56, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024 at his home in Lake City, MN.

Michael was born on August 13, 1967 to William & Barbara (Judge) LaDoucer in Minneapolis, MN. He married Heather Bressler on July 27, 1996 in Long Lake, MN (later separated). They lived in Minnetonka, MN. Michael drove truck for the Star Tribune. They later moved to Lake City in 2018 where he drove truck for Wylie Wilson Trucking of Red Wing. Michael was a hard-working man on the road most of the time trying to make a better life for his kids. He took pride in providing for his children and taking care of his Mother. He enjoyed spending time with his friends he didn't get to see very often.

In Michael’s pastime, he loved traveling the states with his family in search of a new adventure. When it came down to it, his favorite place to visit was at home; the North Shore in Minnesota. Michael enjoyed collecting rocks and antiques. He found agates most intriguing; most of his vacations he found himself walking a beach on Lake Superior in the middle of nowhere collecting agates. 

Michael is survived by his sons, Alexander (Charity Young) LaDoucer of Cologne, MN, Benjamin LaDoucer of Lake City; daughter, Emily LaDoucer of Lake City; Mother, Barbara Tschetter of Edina, MN.

Michael is preceded in death by his father William LaDoucer and step father Dwight Tschetter.
