Myrna Barth

Myrna (Mittelstadt) Barth was born April 16, 1952 to Carl and Minnie (Doering) Mittelstadt. She lived in Mantorville, Minnesota until 1966, when the family moved to Mabel, Minnesota and then Caledonia. In 1968 they moved to Pine Island, Minnesota.

She married Joe Drazan on December 18, 1971. In 1973 they had an infant daughter who they lost shortly after birth. On April 14, 1975 she and Joe had their son Daniel Drazan. Dan was very active in sports and Myrna never missed a game. Joe and Myrna later divorced in 1996. In 1998 Myrna married Brent Barth who passed away in 2012.

Myrna worked as a waitress most of her life, including the original Rainbow Cafe in Pine Island, The Kahler Hotel Coffeehouse (20 years) and Michael's Restaurant. Myrna worked as a cashier at Menards North since 2000 until her retirement in April of 2018.

Myrna loved animals, nature, and most of all, time with her grandchildren. She is survived by a son Daniel (Heidi) Drazan of Pine Island, grandchildren Kaylee (Dillon) Holtan, Carter Drazan, step-grandchildren Ella and Noah Schneider, brothers Paul (LuAnn) Mittelstadt of Spring Valley, Minnesota, and Joe (MaryAnn) Mittelstadt of Kasson, Minnesota, sister Ellen Mittelstadt of Rochester, Minnesota, sister-in-law Pam Mittelstadt of Rochester. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, 3 infant grandchildren, both husbands, a brother David and sister Mary (Unger).

Myrna's farewell advice - "Live, laugh, and love for today. Go where your heart takes you and always smile... it makes people wonder what you've been up to."

A Celebration for the Life of Myrna Barth will be held Wednesday April 24th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Mahn Family Funeral Home's Mahler Chapel in Pine Island.
