Nancy Ann Becker, 80, of Red Wing, died Friday, May 23, 2025, at the Benedictine Living Community, St. Crispin's. She was born on November 23, 1944, in Allentown, Pennsylvania to Joseph Jr. and Rosemary (O'Grady) Sell. She graduated from St. Francis Academy (high school) in Bethlehem, Pa., then Moravian College in Bethlehem, and received her master's degree at Lehigh University. For several years she was a school teacher in Bethlehem. In August 1983, she married Thomas Becker in Superior, WI. They lived in Duluth, Fresno, CA back to Pennsylvania and for the past 30 years in rural Red Wing. She substitute taught in Cannon Falls and Red Wing, worked at 3M in Woodbury, and Purdue Pharmaceuticals. Living in the country, she enjoyed tending to her garden.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband, of 41 years, Tom; four brothers, Joe Sell III, Mike Sell. Jonathan Sell, Tim Sell, and one sister, Rosemary Klotz, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 1030 a.m. at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel.
