Nancy Holthe

Nancy Ann Holthe, 79, of Red Wing, died Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 10, 1946, in Red Wing to Romaine and Elizabeth (Peterson) Nimon. She graduated in 1964, from Red Wing Central High School and then attended beauty school. On August 20, 1966, she was united in marriage to Robert Holthe at Christ Episcopal Church in Red Wing. They were blessed with two children, Scott and Lisa. Nancy received her LPN degree from the Red Wing Technical College and found her passion as a nurse. She worked in Home Health and Hospice before retiring in 2015. She was a member of United Lutheran Church and enjoyed entertaining and playing cards. Nancy was an avid baseball fan, especially of the Red Wing Aces and the New York Yankees. Her family was very important to her. Attending their sporting and school events over the years was top priority and her grandchildren were near and dear to her heart.

Nancy is survived by her two children, Scott (Sarah) Holthe of Holmen, WI, Lisa (Mike) O’Brien of Red Wing; four grandchildren, Grace and Aidan O’Brien and Abby and Elliott Holthe-Swets (Vanessa); three nephews, Chris Holthe, Michael Holthe and Chris Nimon; brother-in-law, Roland (LaVonne) Holthe and sisters-in-law, Kathy Holthe and Karen Falk. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert in 2014, and one brother, Todd Nimon.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 4, 2025, at United Lutheran Church in Red Wing with Reverend Justin Boeding officiating. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel and at the church one hour prior to the service. Memorials are preferred to United Lutheran Church or donor’s choice.
