Naomi Berland

Naomi Jane Berland, 75, of Goodhue, died unexpectedly Monday, November 3, 2025 at her home. She was born on December 5, 1949, in Winona, MN to Donald and Ruth (Gast) Frick. She graduated from Dover/Eyota High School and then from Winona State University with a degree in nursing. On June 17, 1978, she was united in marriage to Theodore Berland in Green Bay, WI. They resided in Wisconsin, Texas, Washington, Louisiana, and California. In 2002, they moved to Goodhue. She was an active member of St. Luke Lutheran Church. Naomi enjoyed quilting, cooking and canning and also had a love for dogs. She and Ted also spent time golfing and traveling, including going on cruises.

She is survived by cousins, Ron Frick, Roger Frick, Diane Frick, Ray (Kay) Frick and Rich (Andrea) Frick; special friends, Chip and Peg Krueger along with Keith and Kelli Zetah and family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 2005, and one sister, Donna Frick.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2025, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 37750 County 6 Blvd. in Goodhue with Reverend Eric Hanson officiating. Arrangements are by the Mahn Family Funeral Home, Larson Chapel in Zumbrota.
