ROCHESTER - Natalie Camrud, age 90, of Rochester, passed away to be with the Lord on Monday, December 26th, 2016 at Rochester Rehabilitation and Living Center. Natalie was born on June 22nd, 1926 to Alfred and Annetta (Frylund) Thompson in Hatton, North Dakota. Natalie married Ray Camrud on November 24th, 1946. Natalie was a longtime member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. She loved to bake and cook, leaving fond memories for all who were privileged to enjoy. She enjoyed her plants and tending to the beautiful flowers in her garden. She managed the card and gift department at Hunt Drug for many years. She also kept in touch with many friends and family on Facebook.
Natalie is survived by her children Rinda Pattinson of Ames, IA; Neil ( Susan) of Brookfield, WI; Wanda (David) Jensen of Rochester; and Allan (La Donna) of Osceola, WI; grandchildren Brian (Janet) Pattinson, Jill (Josh) Mortenson, Courtney (Aric) Kinney, Kelly (Ed) Ewertowski, Kyle (Nichole) Jensen, Laura (Scott) Baker, Mathew (Christine) Camrud, Emily (Cap) Richards, Randy (Bobbie Jo) Arndt, Chris (Hang) Arndt, and Jeffery Warren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister Marion Koering of Valley City, ND; sister-in-laws Madelyn Camrud, and Caroline Camrud; and numerous nieces and nephews. Natalie is preceded in death by her husband Ray, who died May 29, 2010, great granddaughter Grace Pattinson, her parents, sisters Joyce Groven, Alpha Sobolik, and Curtiselle Thompson, and brothers Chester, Hilliard, Earl, Arthur, Anthony, Palvin, and Robert.
The family would like to thank Dr. Tulledge-Scheitel, Mayo Hospice along with Homestead Rehabilitation and Living Center for the care and compassion that was given to our Mother.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6th, 2017 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church with Pastor Ben Loven officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service at the church, and a reception will be held following the service. Inurnment will be in the Church Columbarium.
Memorials are suggested to Our Savior's Lutheran Church or Mayo Clinic Hospice.
