Paul Weiland

Paul Isadore Weiland, 88, of Red Wing, died Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the Lake City Care Center. He was born February 2, 1937, in Bridgewater, SD to Wilbur and Leona (Beaner) Weiland. Paul worked for the Milwaukee Railroad and then became a heavy equipment operator, a job that was fitting, as he enjoyed moving dirt, as well as smoking cigarettes. One of his favorite hobbies was dune buggying.

He is survived by his children, Theresa Tamminen, Ron (Brenda) Weiland and Kathy Marshall; grandchildren, Steven, Cassandra, Jeremy, Brandon, Chad, Brian and Teri; great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Sammilee, Aiden, Khrystina, and Kayden; brothers, Dale (Joanie), Chuck (Rose) and Jim (Nancy) Weiland and sister, Mary Eigner. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Alvina (Snyder) Weiland; brother, Ronald Eugene Weiland; great-grandson, Peyton Jeffrey and his son-in-law, Ross Tamminen.

Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Mahn Family Funeral Home, Bodelson-Mahn Chapel with a visitation one hour prior.
